Gel hand sanitisers are shown to be more effective than liquids because the viscous consistency slows the evaporation of alcohol from the skin, as well as reducing mess and waste. The gel is manufactured with natural humectants designed to hydrate the skin and minimise any dryness or irritation caused by frequent use. The 5 litre container is supplied with a pump dispenser, but can also be decanted into a separate dispenser bottle.
